When it connected to iPhone XS max music plays without quality loss. When it connected from iPhone X or my new laptop HP I can hear quality losses. Nevertheless, nicely works with my home acoustic. Support 2 connections and it seems like even play sound simultaneously from both, so double check who is connected. I am not using microphone, so can’t say nothing about it quality and how it will work in the car. I think you will have to put the device somewhere near the steering wheel or in from of driver to be heard good.
